The Immunology Rundown

I remember on the last test when I actually answered questions with the reasoning of "Well, I sure haven't picked C in a while..." That's never a good sign is it? At least we only have to play this song-and-dance one more time. We go in and do horrendous, Dr. Jipper acts surprised and gets very disappointed. I wonder if he was surprised and disappointed last exam when we skeet skeeted Yani's portion and then bombed his? Do I need to color inside the lines for him?

This is a legitimate problem, COP. Or it would be a legitimate problem if this class mattered, right? I'm not sure how much recombinant DNA manufactured products comes up down at the Walgreen's, and I'm pretty sure they never talk about gene knockout technology because it doesn't have a goddamn thing to do with pharmacy. And when students went to Mr. Erena to complain about not being able to understand Dr. Jipper, they were told that maybe they should go to Dr. Jipper with their complaints.


"I can't understand half the words you say, dammit!"

Grade A idea: I'll go tell the guy solely responsible for passing me on to PY2.5 that his English sucks -- I can see how that solves the problem. That is the definition of a non-solution, ergo they don't care if you understand the material and they certainly don't realistically expect you to follow their advice. And I'm not trying to offend, and I'm not being facetious, and I greatly respect Dr. Jipper: but it isn't as if his English started sucking this year and it isn't as if this is the first time anyone has complained.

I knew it wasn't a good idea to go to Dr. Jipper and complain because once upon a time when course evaluations were done on paper (yes, he's been here that long) someone wrote their complaint and some fairly nasty comments to go with them in fairly distinct handwriting and Dr. Jipper called his house to tell said student how he really felt about what he wrote. This is fact.
