So when one pharmtard (it was not I) was counseling this week he was being observed by a lab TA who corrected him when he didn't state the full name of the drug being compounded. The full name of course being "10% Glycolic Acid 10% Urea 10% Someotherstuff, Nystatin 25,000 U/gram ointment." I'm assuming that if I told a patient this, they'd most likely be afraid to take this mysterious moon cream I just made for them, and would demand earth medicine for their earthly ailments. Seriously though, even the rotation student went "huh?" Shoot, I told my rotation student "practice patient" that it was an "Itch cream with a little bit of this and a little bit of that" y'know, because I assume they don't have a Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry.
Does anyone else haaaaaaaaaaaate immuno lectures thus far? I've actually been comparatively pleased with the lecturers this semester given that they've ditched the PY1 class "See and Say" method of reading powerpoint slides like bedtime stories...but immuno's a bit too dry.
