Today while I was reading my newspaper I stumbled across the gem of "Truckers resist a ban on texting while driving." I though to myself that this was a filler story...but then it got weird
"Tom Wiles said he uses a laptop with a Wi-Fi connection to update his trucking Web site while on the road."
Holy shit. He blogs on the road! How is that not insanely dangerous? He's driving a truck that weighs ten times as much as my beloved Pokey. But but but, a study at Virginia Tech found that this was safer than texting. WTF?
As if that made sense, researchers have discovered that people who were intoxicated at the time of a traffic accident were less likely to experience a traumatic brain injury.
Looks like there's two sides to every issue, ladies
