So I want to start today’s blog entry off with a random self-quote from a facebook chat conversation last night: “One of my best friends in undergrad had a daschund, and he was cool as hell...looking back on it I guess I’d be pretty cool too if my weiner drug the carpet."
With that out of the way, I have to say I semi-enjoyed my volunteer work at my local community pharmacy today. Every time I made a mistake, I was sure to say “I bet Steve’s gonna take that one out of my paycheck!” I encourage my fellow pharmtards to do the same – spice up your endentured servitude. Other than discovering new and unusual ways to entertain myself, I can’t say I really picked up all that much (read as: not a damn thing) from my rotation today. I’d rather be somewhere doing the exact same thing...but where my name’s on the payroll. Tomorrow I will be working for a wage, or as I prefer to say – tomorrow daddy’s playing for keeps.
